Rosalía and the sanctuary of "Lux": Chronicle of an exclusive Listening Party at the MNAC

Beneath the dome of the MNAC, time stood still. Seeing Rosalía there, simply lying on a stage amidst that vastness, transformed listening to "Lux" into something almost liturgical. There were no artifices or distractions; only her, her static presence, and an album that, from the very first chords, feels like a radical evolution. "Lux" sounds like light, but a light filtered through atmospheric and experimental electronica that compels you to close your eyes to process each texture.
The contrast between the museum's solemnity and the avant-garde nature of the new songs created an atmosphere of absolute reverence. There were moments of profound silence, broken only by the breathing of the guests and Rosalía's voice filling every corner of the room. Hearing these songs for the first time, with her just a few feet away, sharing her vulnerability in this way, gave the album a mystical dimension that is unlikely to be replicated in a conventional listening experience. It's a dense, courageous, and deeply visual album that reaffirms she's in a league of her own.

To close the night, as we left we were given an exclusive event t-shirt, the perfect physical souvenir for a listening session that was pure emotion.
Many thanks to Sony Music Spain for the invitation and for allowing me to experience this historic moment in Barcelona. It was an absolute privilege to be one of the few to enter the world of "Lux" before anyone else.
