The standout moment of Coachella Weekend 2 came on Friday, April 17, when Madonna joined Sabrina Carpenter on stage.

The performance moved through distinct phases, beginning with Madonna’s entrance during “Juno,” before transitioning into a reworked “Vogue” built around ballroom choreography.

The set reached its peak with a duet of “Like a Prayer,” combining large-scale production with strong audience engagement.

The biggest news of the night, however, was the world premiere of an unreleased collaboration between the two. Performed live for the first time, the track is a high-octane synth-pop anthem that isn't even on streaming platforms yet. This was paired with the debut of Madonna’s new solo single, "I Feel So Free." Produced by Stuart Price, the track’s disco-house structure and driving bassline signaled a return to her "Confessions" roots, proving to be incredibly effective in a live festival setting.

Between the nostalgia of the classics and the hype of the new material, the set was more than just a cameo—it was a definitive statement on the current state of pop music.
